Dolorosa Arabians - The Farm

Since 1978, Dr. DeCarol Williamson and his wife Jan have been turning out champions in every discipline. Located in Rocky Point, North Carolina, Dolorosa is home to some of North America’s finest mares and highest quality Arabian horses. When asked about his love of the Arabian horse DeCarol Williamson responded, “What first was a love of horses became a passion for the Arabian, which I still believe today to be the greatest of all horses. I am committed to preserving what I think is the quality and integrity of the Arabian I have in my heart and mind.”

This has been the attitude of Dolorosa Arabians since the start. With a herd of 100+, Dolorosa has continued to honor that commitment with every horse bred and trained. To aide in the improvement of the breed Dolorosa has built a state of the art facility. With a main office, four barns totaling 150 stalls, a covered arena, three covered bullpens, a hot-walker, a breeding lab, and countless pastures for the turning out of horses, Dolorosa has some of the finest facilities around.
